A group of students ponder these questions after stumbling across a tax protest. Now instead of just accepting slogans at face value, they’re digging deeper, interviewing experts for a school project. Who is the 1%? When did income taxes start in the U.S.? What amount of taxation, and of whom, is “fair?”
